“Don’t Be Afraid to Start”

Let’s start by saying it—“Easier said than done.”

“Starting” in any part of life isn’t just the last thing most of us want to do—it can be intimidating, overwhelming, and honestly, just plain frightening.

When we’re facing a new project or chasing a vision we believe in—something we hope will turn into something tangible, yet we've never done it before—it’s easy to wrestle with doubt and insecurity. Those feelings can make it hard to even begin.

Let’s talk about starting…

What is starting, really? It’s not just jumping into a coffee meeting and casually chatting about your ideas with a friend—especially when you don’t even know how you’re going to bring those ideas to life. Sometimes, starting looks like taking a few days, weeks, or even months to remind yourself: if this vision keeps showing up in your mind, it’s because you are capable of bringing it to life.

That doesn’t mean it’ll happen fast. It doesn’t mean it’ll go exactly as planned. But it does mean it has value—because it’s Yours.

So, what is your start?

Is it writing your idea down and journaling about its purpose? Is it talking to someone you trust, just to get the encouragement to take that second step (because this first step counts—look at you!)? Is it sitting in a quiet park, meditating, and visualizing the project and what it could become?

Maybe. Maybe not. But whatever it is—just do it.

Small or large, messy or polished, simple or complicated—a start is a start.

AND YOU CAN START NOW!
